About This Project
The Digital Year Calendar is a free tool inspired by Jesse Itzler's Big Ass Calendar and his Life Resume methodology.
The Philosophy
Jesse's approach is simple: if you don't aggressively schedule the life you want, someone else will fill your calendar for you. The Big Ass Calendar puts your entire year on one page so you can see the big picture and plan intentionally.
The methodology centers on a few key ideas:
- Misogi — One big, challenging goal for the year that pushes your limits
- Big Rocks — Quarterly priorities that move the needle on what matters
- Life before meetings — Schedule adventures, family time, and personal goals first, then fill work around them
Why Digital?
Jesse's physical calendar is great — it's big, visual, and lives on your wall as a daily reminder. But I'm a digital nomad. I travel light. I don't have space for a huge calendar on my wall.
This digital version lets you plan your year from any device, share your calendar and export it for printing if you want the best of both worlds.
